In dye penetrant testing, test parts are usually applied with testing agents - either by spraying (often using aerosol cans), dipping or with a brush. Edelstahl Rosswag relies on application by spraying. Previously, a large number of aerosol cans were used for this, which was both cost-intensive and not very environmentally friendly.

Thanks to a solution from PFINDER, an innovative airless system from a contractual partner was introduced. This sprays without air, thereby reducing overspray and significantly lowering test agent consumption. In addition, the company is switching from aerosol cans to canisters, which is not only more cost-effective, but also generates significantly less waste. This changeover protects the environment as there is no need to dispose of empty spray cans.

An optimized spray head also enables a larger spraying surface, which means that the test parts can be processed faster and more efficiently. The result: a more sustainable inspection process (less waste, lower consumption) and greater profitability (cost savings and faster processes).

This progress shows that innovation, profitability and environmental protection can go hand in hand - real added value for all involved. A win-win situation for the environment and the company!
