This week, our Sales Manager and PT/MT Level 3 expert Thomas Schratt took part in the meeting of the DGZfP PT/MT expert committee.

The meeting took place in the modern facilities of the DGZfP 's new training center in Dresden. The venue provided an ideal setting for productive discussions and joint work. Many thanks, DGZfP in Dresden, for your hospitality!

The meeting was very successful and was characterized by a comprehensive and constructive exchange between the participants. A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to an in-depth discussion of current standardization efforts in national and international bodies. This enabled a comprehensive assessment of current developments and an outlook for the future.

In addition, new tasks and projects were defined, incorporating contributions from various DGZfP working groups. This structured approach ensures effective coordination of objectives and promotes synergies between the various specialist areas.

The committee also dealt with various requests from industry, business sectors and different user groups. These discussions helped to clarify important aspects and provided strategic guidance for future initiatives.

At the end of the meeting, the date for the next meeting was set for March 2026 to ensure continuity and progress in the committee's ongoing efforts.

Here is another appeal to all users and industry experts to bring practical concerns from everyday magnetic particle and penetrant testing to the technical committees. You are also welcome to actively participate. Your contributions will help to shape the discussions, overcome the challenges facing the industry and drive progress in this area. We look forward to your commitment!
